BOLAND T10

The Boland T10 cricket tournament is a T10 tournament for 6 teams that will take place between 1 September 2024 and 22 September 2024.

Six newly established teams will slog it out over a three-week period in early spring for the right to be called the inaugural Boland T10 champions. These teams will be made up of the professional players of Goldrush Boland and 100 of the best club- and pipeline players from the length and breadth of the region.

These matches will be played at Boland Park, the headquarters of Cricket Boland. Furthermore, matches will be played under lights and in coloured clothing with all the bells and whistles of short format cricket on display.

The tournament is set to get underway on Monday the 1^st of September and will culminate with the final on Sunday, 22 September. 

Each squad of 17  consists of 5 players from the professional and pipeline ranks whilst further 5 players were pre-selected. The other 7 players were all selected by virtue of a draft system.

The purpose of the tournament is to:

• Showcase local talent.
• Provide a competitive pre-season space for the Boland team.
• Introduce players to the T10 format.

Matches to be played under floodlights at Boland Park commencing at 17h30, 20h00 and 20h30 daily.
